    It's in the air......Spring!

Ok.....We are just a little over a month away from SPRING!!! Yay....oh well we do live in Indiana, so that means nothing. Other than I'm actually booking well into FALL! Yes, you heard that right. I have October sessions in the books, and September births are starting to book!! That means Summer is gonna get pretty full pretty fast. Here is the thing about booking early. You get pick of the weekend if you are needing a weekend! This year, I am only booking one or two s

    New year new pricing!

Well it's been a hot minute since I have blogged. I know it's important, but it's also so time demanding and quite frankly.....who has time anymore. I should be cleaning my house and getting ready for a big cookie walk I'm hosting this weekend. Or editing the many galleries I need to get finished up. But lets face it.....photography is my full time job. (Find a job you love and you will never work a day in your life) Ha...who even came up with that??? And I am always k

Wont be long ~ Fall is coming

I have had several inquires about family sessions lately....Yes Yes Yes, I still love to photograph families and I will always!!! I love watching your family grow and seeing you back every year really does make me feel wonderful! My favorite time of year is Fall. There is a crisp smell about the air and a chill that means warm sweaters, scarves and boots make you feel cozy. And...bonus....we aren't sweating our butts off trying to do photos. The leaves, oh those gorgeous to

    Motherhood Understood

Gah.....this new space in my home studio. The cozy furniture, the warm heat I keep going, that amazing light and oh...them mommies with their babies. My heart adores you. I am going crazy wanting EVERY momma to come in and spend some time with me! I ran a promo for some motherhood sessions and I gotta tell you, my heart aches for a motherhood session with my almost 7 year old! These intimate moments are between you and your child. I encourage giggling, tickling and simply

    Renew me renew you

Spring is always a time of renewal and new life, Spring cleaning is going on, baby animals are being born, the earth becomes green again. This is when I usually take time to reevaluate my choices over the past year. I decide what worked, what didn't, what can I change, and what can I improve on. Yes, I know sounds like like a New Years Resolution, but I just can't ever swing the newness then when everything is so cold and not refreshing. So, I always go for the Springtime. So
