Well it's been a hot minute since I have blogged. I know it's important, but it's also so time demanding and quite frankly.....who has time anymore. I should be cleaning my house and getting ready for a big cookie walk I'm hosting this weekend. Or editing the many galleries I need to get finished up. But lets face it.....photography is my full time job. (Find a job you love and you will never work a day in your life) Ha...who even came up with that??? And I am always knee deep in work, and often do not carve out enough family time. :(
I know many of you know what it's like to run a small business. How much time and dedication it takes to stand out. Obviously I have to have a job, and it is amazing to have one I love. But really....I work way more than 40 hours a week. I don't take paid vacations, and I am often on call for months on end. (Yes, my choice) How many people do you know will work like that to provide excellent service for the people they serve and do it for free? Yeah not to many people. And yes....I volunteer at LOT of time, sessions, host fundraisers and more. Because that's who I am!
So...with the CODB....(Cost Of Doing Business) I'm needing to figure out a few pricing changes.
I have been collaborating with some local photographers on fair pricing in our area. Yes, there will always be those who wont charge their worth. (I wont get into that)
I have my new pricing starting on January 1st 2020. I will also be offering payment plans to make it easier for those who really wish to have those moments captured.
If you have already booked and scheduled your 2020 session, or have inquired on a 2020 birth, your quotes are already locked in.
As of December 7th, any new inquiries will be quoted at 2020 pricing.
You all are so seriously amazing to me! I value all of the moments I have captured. I can't wait to continue to grow with your families!
